Want To Just Get Away? Try a Royal Caribbean Cruise

We've All Been There:
Consider this; You are in your office at work, and honestly work is just that, Work. Your phone rings, and it is another displeased insurance agent, broker, administrator, or other customer. You pour on that classic charm that makes you who you are, and at the end of the day you are just plain exhausted. You are not physically tired, because let's be honest, not much physical activity in office chairs these days. Instead, you are mentally exhausted. So tired that you wish your intellect had a rheostat that you could just dial down a few notches, or better yet, a simple switch so you can just turn that intellect off, until you return to work the next day.  How about it? Am I warm? Does this sound like, you? Got to admit, you know I have you thinking.

Maybe you are not an office worker at all. You may very well work in some other field of employment, where you are experiencing many of the same frustrations as our office worker friend.  Perhaps you are that Police Office that has to stand in the face of blatant disrespect.  Or perhaps you are that firefighter who has done all that you could, only to realize that it simply was not enough. Heck, you may even be that fast food employee who realizes that minimum wage is not enough to compensate for the amount of abuse your take on a daily basis. Or you can be in some other profession where you are just simply underappreciated, devalued, overwhelmed, and you merely want to just get away from the rat race for a few days. How about now? Does this sound more like you? Kind of figured as much.

Believe me when I say that we completely understand, and we may have just the prescription the doctor ordered in the form of a:

Features of Royal Caribbean Ships by Class:

What will you see on your Western Caribbean Cruise?

Some ports of call you that you may experience on your cruise include:

Nassau Bahamas:
Nassau is the capital of the Bahamas. It lies on the island of New Providence, with neighboring Paradise Island accessible via Nassau Harbor bridges. A popular cruise-ship stop, the city has a hilly landscape and is known for beaches as well as its offshore coral reefs, popular for diving and snorkeling. It retains many of its typical pastel-colored British colonial buildings, like the pink-hued Government House.

Labadee Haiti:
(French: Labadie) is a port located on the northern coast of Haiti within the arrondissement of Cap-Haïtien in the Norddepartment. It is a private resort leased to Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., for the exclusive use of passengers of its three cruise lines: Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises, and Azamara Club Cruises, until 2050. The resort is completely tourist-oriented, and is guarded by a private security force. A controlled group of Haitian merchants are given sole rights to sell their merchandise and establish their businesses in the resort. Although sometimes described as an island in advertisements, it is actually a peninsula contiguous with the island of Hispaniola.

Cosumel Mexico:
Cozumel, a mostly undeveloped Mexican island in the Caribbean Sea, is a popular cruise ship port of call famed for its scuba diving. At Arrecifes de Cozumel National Park, there's diving spots around a section of the Mesoamerican Reef and the Museo Subacuático de Arte’s submerged sculptures. Chankanaab is an eco park surrounding a lagoon with underwater caverns, home to dolphins, manatees and sea turtles.

Puerto Costa Maya Mexico:
Costa Maya is a stretch of Caribbean coast on Mexico’s eastern Yucatán Peninsula. Mahahual village is known as a popular cruise ship port, with beaches and coral reefs. Offshore, the reefs and mangroves of Banco Chinchorro Biosphere Reserve are inhabited by sharks, dolphins and turtles. To the north, Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve is home to jaguars, monkeys and hundreds of bird species.

Did you know: Costa Maya is the closest port of access to many of the lesser-known Mayan ruins in the Yucatan including Chacchoben and Kohunlich.

There are other ports as well, but this kind of gives you a taste of what you will experience. So how about it? Interested in a cruise? Well then:

What's that? You would like to see what the other cruise lines have to offer as well? Ok, We hear you:

Why not book a cruise today, and get away from the hustle and bustle of the rat race for a few days? it will do wonders.

Your Vote, Your Voice

America, the land of the free, the home of the brave. Land of Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, Roosevelt, Reagan, Bush,.Obama and Trump (just to name a few).

A land based on the premise that all people are created equally and endowed with certain inalienable rights. Among these rights is the right to vote.

This is a right guaranteed to every American citizen, be they citizen by birth, or citizen by naturalization, still this is a guaranteed right.

The freedom to vote is something that many Americans paid the ultimate sacrifice for. We are not just speaking of our brave men and women in uniform, but also the heroes of the Civil Rights Movement, Women's Suffrage, and even the modern movements of Black Lives Matter, MeToo, and many others. Millions of people fought and died for the sake of people like you and I having the right to vote. In a sense, voting is more than a right, it is an obligation, the obligation to honor the sacrifice of those who gave their lives for us. The best was to honor those legacies, is to exercise your right to vote.

Every 4 years we are blessed with the right to elect the President of the United States of America, the indisputable leader of the free world. Whether you vote Republican, Democrat, or somewhere in between, it is still an honor to take part in the process of electing the most powerful person in the world. In 2016, America elected Donald J Trump to be the 45th President of the United States of America. There will not be another Presidential Election until 2020. This year, we will have the opportunity to vote in the Mid-Term Elections, which many believe are more important than electing the President. During the Mid-Term elections, several seats in the House of Representatives and the Senate are up fro grabs. Though the President is said to be the most powerful man in the world, His power is restricted to the limits established and enforced by Congress. Checks and Balances, no one man will have total power over America. So important are the Mid-Term election that the outcome can make or break the position of the President of the United States.

So what stops people from exercising their right to vote?  Some claim transportation to be an issue. If that is the case, there are several people willing to help you get to the polls to vote. Some believe their vote will not count. To that, I say "Nonsense". The only vote that truly doesn't count in America is the vote that was never cast.  Finally there are those who are simply not registered to vote.

What are the requirement for you to register to vote in America?

- Are you an America Citizen by birth or naturalization? (This answer should be Yes)
-- Green Card Holders are not permitted to vote in the Federal General Election
- Are you at least 18 Years of age? (This answer should be Yes)
- Are you a convicted felon? (This answer should be No)

If you meet the requirements outlined above.the please click the Register to Vote banner, and complete the form that appears. Now is the best time to register to vote, but don't wait too long. The deadline to register to vote in the November Elections is 10/7/2018.
